While out taking some pictures, me and my brother seen our buddies Peterbilt 389 and decided to get some shots of him on the highway. We had missed our exit because we could not merge over, and had no choice but to go over the bridge, but it made for some great pictures. I wish I had gotten a shot closer to the tower in the background but this will do lol. This truck is brutally loud - sounds and looks great.

Sorry for no post yesterday, I've been pretty busy and couldn't get a good post out. I'm actually selling my camera and a few other camera equipment, but don't worry, I am getting a new camera. I shot with a Canon T3i up until about 2012 then I got a 60D. I've always wanted to get a full frame DSLR, and I was always thinking of selling my 60D and the lenses that won't work on full frame to buy the full frame, and I'm finally pulling the trigger. I would love to keep my 60D for my wide angle lens and just as a back up, but the full frame camera i'm buying, the 6D, isn't cheap. So I will have to deal with not having all my lenses for a little bit!
Mack R models are some of the toughest looking trucks in my opinion, and this particular one, owned by a concrete company, is no exception. The heavy axles and setup on this truck looks like it can handle anything thrown at it. Among all the cars and even other trucks on the road, it sure stands out.
If there's anyone who knows how to shut it down, it's the Soot Boyz from Long Island. The Soot Boyz are a truck group from Long Island, and just like a car, or any other group of friends, they roll together and stick together. I took this shot from their convoy of about 60+ trucks going to Convoy Chrome's truck show in September 2014, and as you can tell, they know how to roll! The guys are awesome and are very welcoming and I look forward to seeing them at future truck shows!
